A-Model: Standing and On All Fours

It is proposed to consider the classical A-Model and the level model proposed by Michael Kalman as flat projections (horizontal and vertical, respectively) of a volumetric 3D model. The dynamic aspect of the A-Model is considered through various ways of its functioning. It is demonstrated that they are determined by peculiarities of informational processes. Two of them relate to the flat projections of the volumetric representation of the A-Model in the simplest cases of informational processes. Another two reflect more complicated ways of information processing, which prove to be irrelevant to the model of the specific informational metabolism type. They are supposed to be analogs to the wave interference process.
Key words: socionics, A-Model, informational flow aspects, informational metabolism, informational metabolism functions.

The Influence of the Process of Human Birth (S.Grof's Basic Perinatal Matrices) On Informational Metabolism Type

Within the bounds of the research work performed in Dobrye Lyudi (Good People) Social Adaptation Center symbols and images of the Basic Perinatal Matrices first described by S.Grof (restored recollection of the child's own birth experience) have been discovered in course of detecting informational metabolism types in folk tales. From here a hypothesis of correlation between the so called basic perinatal matrices (BPM) and informational metabolism types (IMTs) has arisen. The author's methodology of Unzipping Psycho-Energetic Memory (UPEM) allowed starting research in this field. The methodology allows recollecting one's own experience of birth in either direct or symbolic sensations, which in turn allows determining at which BPM the patient is fixed. Knowing his informational metabolism type, it is easy to make correlation between the BPM and the quadra. Preliminary results of the research confirm the correlation between the informational metabolism type and the BPM.
Key words: process of birth, basic perinatal matrix, informational metabolism type, symbol, archetype, image, folk tale.

How We Experience the World

Peculiarities of world perception by different informational metabolism types, variety of their reactions towards a specter of informational aspects, peculiarities of preferences and choice of stimuli are considered.
Key words: socionics, self-diagnostics, knowledge, information, personality type, information specter, psychical functions, preferences.

Thinking Styles and Functional Brain Asymmetry

Correlation between thinking styles and functional specialization of the brain hemispheres is described. Peculiarities of motivation and actualization of different informational metabolism types are considered. Relation between thinking styles and type accents is traced.
Key words: socionics, psychology, thinking style, functional brain asymmetry, personality typology, type accent, actualization, motivation, character.

Study of Processes of Differentiation and Integration of Psyche in C.G.Jung's Works

C.G.Jung's statements determining dynamics of the Consciousness and the Unconscious, methods of working with the Unconscious, processes of individuation and personality integration are analyzed. From the viewpoint of thermodynamics, Selfness is considered as an ideal state, towards whose achievement the redistribution of the psychical energy is directed. The processes of differentiation and integration of psychical space are compared with the alchemical symbols and texts, thus achieving deeper contents in the contents of the modern scientific knowledge.
Key words: consciousness, unconscious, Ego, psychical energy, complexes, entropy, individuation, Selfness, Mandala.

The Problem of Psychical Functions and Their Semantics

The issues of origin of the psychical functions (informational metabolism functions), semantics of the informational aspects and logic of construction of the informational model of psyche (the A-Model) are considered. The problem of modeling the process of manifestation of all informational metabolism types as a result of the human psyche evolution is presented.
Key words: socionics, psyche evolution, psychical functions, informational flow aspects, information processing, informational model of psyche.
