Practice of Using Protocols for Distant Typing of the Psyche TIM in the Internet

An interesting solution of the problem of choosing a hypothesis of psyche TIM is proposed. By asking his client a certain question containing information pertinent to certain information flow aspect, an expert will be able to analytically reveal dimensionality, sign and position of the corresponding psychical function that engendered the reaction in the super-blocks Mental/Vital of the Model A and thus the very TIM of psyche. After that it becomes possible to verify the chosen model and to identify the informational metabolism type of psyche with high probability. Some indicators of dimensionality, sign and super-block facilitating an expert's work are also proposed. Practice shows sufficiently high efficiency of this approach for type identification by interviewing, both in personal presence of a client and in correspondence with him.

Diagnostics of Reinin Criteria by Questionnaires and Psychological Profiles of Popular Occupations in Projection on these Criteria

Our research testifies a model of the psychological space formed by 15 orthogonal factors. It demonstrates a possibility of reliable determining of all the 15 Reinin's criteria by answers of respondents to psychological questionnaires. Psychological contents of the 15 Reinin's criteria is revealed in projection on the items of the questionnaires. Interaction of the socionic criteria by the formula of their multiplication when two criteria form the third one is experimentally proved. At the same time, the experiment demonstrates high residual degree of freedom of each criterion from the remaining 14 (about 60% free dispersion). Physiological 'backbone elements' for several Reinin's criteria are revealed. In an experiment with a random list of preferred occupations a list of 140 most popular occupations has been obtained. Profiles of each occupation are obtained in projection on the 15 criteria and 16 socionic types. An inter-correlation matrix of weights of factors by occupations reveals oblique-angled structure of factors, analog to the one obtained by factorization of psychological questionnaires with a liberal criterion of orthogonality of factors.

On Creativity, Functions, TIMs ...

The article considers manifestations of informational metabolism functions in the psyche model as well as their roles. The concept of creativity is discussed in application to informational metabolism functions. Irrational functions are supposed to respond for creative manifestations of each type. New names for psychical functions of the Model A are proposed.
Key words: socionics, informational metabolism type, creativity, psyche model, psychical function.

On Perspectives of Socionics as a Science

The article considers the problem of application of the scientific method in socionics and criticizes the current situation when fundamental socionic principles are derived directly from hypotheses while the stage of experimental verification is skipped. In the authors' opinion, the lack of practice of statistical verification of hypotheses in socionics decreases predictive force of its theory. The article presents comparative analysis of views of V.Gulenko and V.Yermak who declare opposite principles in the argument on the scientific status of socionics.
